I have been living in a lot of pain because of a snow-skiing accident on January 30, 2005. Subsequent surgery to put together my "shattered shoulder and arm" with a titanium plate and 8 screws, and immediate 13-month therapy for a "frozen shoulder" did not succeed in giving me "range of motion". I became very depressed because I really didn't know I had any other options except the possibility of more surgery to try to alleviate my pain. I chose not to have more surgery because I have always been highly allergic to medications and refused to take any kind of pain-killer drugs. So I was resigned to living the rest of my life with this pain while still hoping someone could help me through natural healing.

Then, nearly three years later, a friend told me about Active Release Technique, (A.R.T). therapist in Colorado. After five weeks of therapy in Colorado, I believed that this technique could help me. I searched the internet for an Active Release Therapist in the San Diego, Calif. area in hopes of finding a Doctor who could help me continue therapy while I was visiting family there. I am very grateful to have found you! I feel the best way I can truly "Thank You" is to make my story available to you with the purpose of giving hope through your help to others who are in pain

Three years later in January, 2008, when I came to you with my x-rays and my still "frozen shoulder", my pain was intolerable. Early on in the therapy sessions, you mentioned that you wished you had more time. I knew I needed to give you all the time you needed even though I did not create the most ideal of situations because I needed to leave on two separate occasions to go back to my home state of Nevada in February and April, 2008. Through the series of your treatments, the pain has gone through every stage imaginable to me. However, with your consultations, treatments and the knowledge I have gained through them, I believe I will be completely pain free!

I believe your "success story" with me is only possible because you have chosen to use your gifts in the service of helping others. The real "success" of my story is that a depressing "life-changing" injury for me as been turned into a miracle "life-changing" healing for me.
